COVID-19 (Coronavirus) is an illness caused by a virus that is spread from person to person. You can become infected by coming into
close contact (about 6 feet or two arm lengths) with a person who has COVID-19. With this being said Mechanicsville Volunteer Rescue Squad is requesting that you do your part by staying home, and stopping the spread. You should avoid contact with others as much as possible. While at home you should clean and disinfect commonly touched surfaces as well as washing your hands with warm soapy water for at least 20 seconds. In the event you need to leave the safety of your home it is recommended to wear a face covering when you are coming in contact with people. Avoid public transportation as it is difficult to maintain a distance from people. The best way to help is to stay at home. MVRS thanks each and everyone of you. Extra thanks to those that are working on the front lines.
