Members of MVRS would like to pass it condolences on to the friends and families of Hughesville Volunteer Fire Department's Kyle Compton and St Mary's County Sheriff's Office Deputy First Class Jason Bush. Both were instrumental members of their community and will be missed.

In the late evening hours of April 28th, the Hughesville Volunteer Fire Department and Rescue Squad Inc. lost member Kyle Compton (23) in a motor vehicle collision on Turkey Hill Road in White Plains.

Deputy Bush passed away on Monday, April 29, 2019, after a courageous and hard-fought battle against cancer. He was just 34 years old.
