MVRS Volunteers came out in full force to share their love for emergency services at Mechanicsville Elementary School's Career Day. Students were instructed on proper 911 procedures and how EMS works. Students were then able to go hands on. They were able to first hand use a monitor, O2 bottle, stretcher, and even splints. Thankfully the north end was quiet that morning and the crews were able to spend time with the students uninterrupted.
If you are interested in becoming a volunteer applications can be found on the website, or stop by. Membership meetings are the 3rd Wednesday of the month at 1900. Stop in and say hi!
