"Critical Catch" training

January 21st, Paramedic Kelshaw from Charles County held a pregnancy and delivery training called the "Critical Catch". Paramedic Kelshaw provided education on everything our clinicians need to know about pregnancy and childbirth. MVRS attends Cub Scout event

Members were requested to help Pack 1203 Webelos Den 4 learn all about first responders and what they do. Our members preformed different scenarios and demonstrated the equipment used. The Scouts were also able to the tour our ambulance inside and out. Thank you to the following members for attending; Jeffrey Lytton, Cynthia Jordan, Stephanie Bates and Vanessa Rudolph. Passing of Life Member Erin Burch

Erin joined the Mechanicsville Volunteer Squad in September of 1977 at the age of 19 to become an EMT. She was voted to Active membership in March of 1978.

It is with great sadness that the members of the Hollywood Vol. Rescue Squad announce the passing of Life Member Stanley Williams Jr. Following a brave battle with cancer, Stanley passed away peacefully with his loving wife Joanie by his side on Sunday, November 5th.
