Eddie is the last still active Charter Member of the Rescue Squad, He was an active running member from 1959 through 1973 responding to 56 calls; he served as the Charter Treasurer of the Squad in 1959 and served in that capacity for 10 years through 1968. He was elected the third president of the Squad in 1969. and served for 6 years as president through 1974. He has served continously on the Board of Directors from 1975 to current.

Earlier this year Eddie was inducted into the Southern Maryland Volunteer Firemen's Association Hall Fame.

Eddie, we thank your for your 50 years of service.

Funeral Friday June 18th at All Faith Church in Huntersville on Rt. 6 @ 11:00 am

No procession from the funeral home to the church.

We will meet at the squad Thursday evening between 6 & 6:15 pm and drive down to the funeral home together. Dress Uniforms, Work Uniforms or Dress clothes.

On Friday for the funeral we will meet at the squad @ 10:15 - 10:30
