MVRS is proud to have entered a new partnership with St. Mary's Advanced Life Support to station a satellite medic unit at Company 29. This unit will be staffed by members of SMALS to provide additional ALS coverage to not only the Mechanicsville area, but all of St. Mary's County. Medic 291 is the second satellite medic unit in St. Mary's, the first being Medic 391 which is stationed at the Lexington Park VRS. The members of MVRS are very excited about this opportunity to improve ALS service to the citizens of St. Mary's County, and welcome all of SMALS providers to our station.
