On Sunday November 22, 2009 Mechanicsville Volunteer Rescue Squad and Auxiliary celebrated Thanksgiving with their squad family.

We had a smorgasbord of food fixed by the members. Two turkeys’, one was fried. Of course we had stuffing, mashed potatoes and all the fun Thanksgiving food. There where several desserts too, that where delicious.

The Redskin and Dallas game was on in the lounge throughout the event. There where some turkey filled bellies that fell asleep after dinner on the couch in the lounge.

We also ran a MVA during dinner. As dinner was being put on the table a crew ran out to respond to the call and where able to get back in time for food that was still warm. Then after dinner the kids where taken for a ride in the ambulance.
