FLOCKING

Mechanicsville Volunteer Rescue Squad has started a new morale booster…… FLOCKING.
Pink flamingos land in some unsuspecting person’s yard. It is fun for all who help and those who are flocked. Some people come out in the morning to go to work and are surprised to see the Flamingo’s in there yard. Some go on vacation and we can flock them while they are gone. Sometimes they can just simply be at work, out shopping or just gone for a little while.
Endeavors thus far with flocking have been exciting and hilarious. We have had some late night flocking, rainy flocking. We have had member’s kids help, boyfriends etc. Some people have been targeted to be flocked. A lot of members have been involved in this fundraiser. Thank you to all who have helped put them out, pick them up or bring them back.
This is also an internal fundraiser for the rescue squad there is a nominal fee to have the flamingo’s removed but you get to choose who gets flocked next. You can also donate to not be flocked and you can donate to have someone flocked.
So far 5 MVRS members’ houses have been hit. Guess who was flocked this last time???? See the pictures and guess where the flamingo’s decided to land.
So keep an eye out for the Mechanicsville Volunteer Rescue Squad Flamingo’s flying around!!!!
